 Once the world's online search leader, Yahoo's share has sharply declined, putting it in danger of losing its relevance in a market increasingly dominated by Google. Yahoo's search market share in November fell to 17.5% from 18% in October, according to a monthly comScore report released late Wednesday. It's the lowest share ever recorded for Yahoo.

Social media networking is the latest blessings from web 2.0. From the early days of the web when Usenet groups and other such IRC chat rooms were available and the internet was comprised of mainly text links, it was never considered that social media could be a potential source of marketing for online businesses and organizations. It has become the norm these days for every business to at least have some decent social media networking. Web 2.0 is quite different from Web 1.0 in a sense that it offers greater opportunities for people to interact ad share their thoughts.

There are plenty of SEO “gurus” out there that will try to make you believe that this game is just about rankings. It’s not. Two of the fundamental rules that Google sticks to are relevancy and usability. Simply reaching for top rankings doesn’t guarantee you reel in most of the traffic for a particular keyword..........
